- Where is Victor Frankenstein from?

Victor Frankenstein was born in the Italian city of Naples at the end of the 18th century.

- Give details about his family.

Father: Alphone Frankenstein was a politician who belonged to a rich and ancient noble lineage.

Mother: Caroline Frankenstein who died of scarlet fever when he was young.

Brothers: The little william was killed by frankenstein's monster and Ernest went into the foreign service.

- What do you know about his childhood?

In Victor Frankenstein's childhood there were several alchemists who influenced him to study science and chemistry in order to discover the elixir of life.

- What were his feelings about studying and learning?

His motivation to study was thanks to some alchemists and to discover the elixir of life.

- How would you describe his personality?

Victor Frankenstein's presonality was that of a proud boy who likes science


THE MONSTER

- Where is he from?

Frankesntein's monster was created in Germany

- What do we know about his appearance?

In the book he is described as a tall humanoid creature about 8 feet tall, created from corpse parts

- How do people react to the moster?

People's reaction to seeing Frankenstein's monster ir rejection because of its physical apearance.

- How does he survive?

The monster after being abandoned by his creator, goes to a village and learns to speak and read until he tries to socialize with the people and is kecked out of the village.

-What did he learn from the blind family.

The monster learn the family's French language ande practices those words

- How would you describe his personality?

The monster at first they thought it was evil but it really shows that the monster is sensitive and with a big heart.


- How do you think a "monster" like Frankenstein would be treated in our society today?

Currently, in our society, I believe that Frankenstein's monster would also be treated with rejection or would be used for experiments or shows.

- Can we blame the monster for his actions? For example, did he know what he was doing when he commited the murders or was it not his fault?

I think that you can't really judge someone without really knowing the reason why they did it. When the monster was attacked and rejected, the only thing he did was defend himself, it was nos his fault but that of the humans who attacked him.

- What were your heeling towards the monster? Did you feel sorry for him? Why or Why not?

In Frankenstein's monster I felt quite identified with it because I have also been rejected for being or not being what people expect you to be.


MY PERSONAL REVIEW

What did you think of the story?

I have read this story many times and I really like it because despite being a horror story, it alson criticizes today's society, that at the slightest thing we criticize a person without knowing them.

Would you recommend it to your friends?  Why/why not?

Yes, I would recommend the story to my frieends because I want them to feel like a horror story can make you reflect, just like I did.
